We have already used so many of these materials this school year and it has really helped my Kindergarteners. The black trays have been a lifesaver, as they store all of our kids' materials in their desk. The kids have loved the Pete the Cat books, and have enjoyed our kindergarten read alouds. My most favorite donation so far has been the voice recording buttons. We have some kiddos that really benefit from auditory learning along with hands-on. We keep the buttons outside our classroom with recorded letters and their sounds, heart words, and numbers. The kids look at it, press the button, and repeat what they hear. I think it is helping them tremendously. Another sweet moment was when we were drawing our self portraits. We had a student say he's not really the peach crayon or the brown crayon. We had just what him and the other students needed with our colors of the world crayons. I am so grateful to have everything I need for them. We are having a great year so far and they are the SWEETEST little loves. Thank you times a million.","fullyFundedDate":1753885222338,"projectUrl":"project/organized-crafty-in-kindergarten/9269411/","projectTitle":"Organized & Crafty in Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mulhern","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3966828_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759243669063","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msrichards3rdgrade"},{"teacherId":3966828,"projectId":9151126,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for giving our UPK classes this hands-on experience. Our kids loved to get the baby caterpillars, watch them grow bigger, form a chrysalis, and emerge as butterflies. We let them go outside on a sunny day and wished them well. \r\nOur students loved to come up with names for all of the butterflies and pick their favorite ones. This has been one of the snowiest winters that we've seen in awhile! Our UPK students love to go outside- but in order to do that, they need warm clothes. Thanks to you, I now have sets of snowsuits, boots, hats, and gloves ready to go so that we don't miss a moment of fun. There's no longer the \"let's go see if the nurse\" has any, or squeezing into the wrong size. My kids have everything they need to go outside and safely play. Not only that, but because I have these sets, I'll be able to offer the same opportunities to my future classes by keeping these extra sets readily available from year to year. We have been sledding, climbing snowy hills, and making snow angels. All thanks to you!
