Your kindness and support have had a direct, and tangible impact on my students. I'm so excited to share just how much your contributions have meant to us! Thanks to you, our students have had a joyful and energized start to the school year. Here's how your donated items were used:\r\n\r\nThe jump ropes, flying disk ring, chalk, and bubble wands turned our outdoor time into a burst of laughter and movement. I have seen how these items have helped my shy students slowly come out of their shells during recess time, and how they have allowed new friendships to blossom as they play together with these toys. \r\n\r\nThe snacks, small prize toys, candy, and birthday pins have helped us create meaningful celebrations and reinforce positive behavior. This year, I have noticed how students eagerly await for their birthday because they want to be celebrated in class, and they want to proudly wear the birthday pin throughout the halls of our school. Behavior improves daily and students receive rewards for great effort. These treats make students feel seen and valued. \r\n\r\nYour donations of sharpened pencils, scissors, crayons, composition notebooks, and plastic folders ensured that every student had what they needed to learn, create, and stay organized. I truly have enjoyed the efficiency in our classroom because of those sharpened pencils. If their lead breaks, students can simply get up and get a new one or quickly sharpen their broken pencil with the electric sharpener. The plastic folders are currently being used as their weekly conduct folders, and they have been VERY useful! Since they're plastic, they last longer, compared to the paper folders we have used in the past!\r\n\r\nThe addition and subtraction kits have been an amazing hands-on tools to support our math learning. They've helped build confidence in students who need a little extra practice.\r\n\r\nLastly, I wanted to thank you all for helping us stay healthy! The Clorox wipes and Kleenex have kept our room clean and comfortable, especially during sniffle season.\r\n\r\nYour generosity didn't just provide supplies — it created a positive, nurturing, and fun learning environment. Every item you gave had a purpose, and every single one has helped my students feel cared for and ready to succeed.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts — thank you for investing in our classroom. Soon after receiving the items, I shared them with our nurse and assistant principal. They were very appreciative of these items as just earlier in the week there was a student that spent the day outside of the nurse's office waiting for a parent to get off work to bring them some clothes. These items truly are making an immediate impact on our students.\r\n\r\nI had the items in my classroom before taking them to the office and when a group of my students came in, they became so excited at seeing the clothes! They asked if it was for them and I told them that it's for emergencies and accidents. They loved knowing that if there is a need, they have clean clothes available for them. At my school, we have many working parents that at times are unable to come to school to bring their children clean clothes due to their schedule and/or transportation so these items are a blessing for them.\r\n\r\nYour support sends a powerful message to our students: they are cared for, valued, and not alone. The books you provided have had an incredible impact on my students, and I'd love to share with you how they're making a difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nReading is a central part of our daily routine, and these new books are helping us not only improve reading fluency but also develop critical thinking, comprehension, and vocabulary. The themes in these books open up opportunities for important lessons on perseverance, friendship, and exploring new perspectives—lessons that will stay with my students for years to come.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is much more than just an individual activity; it's a collaborative experience. We explore the stories together, discussing the characters, the plot, and the lessons embedded within. Students actively participate in conversations about the books, sharing their thoughts and predictions. We often engage in small group activities where they work together to discuss scenes or develop their own interpretations, bringing the stories to life in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThe new books have been especially exciting for many students. Some who were previously hesitant readers have discovered a new passion for books, reading more regularly and discussing them with their peers. Others who were struggling with reading are now excited to take on more challenging texts, building their confidence with each new page. It's been wonderful to witness their growth and enthusiasm for reading.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are not just reading—they're dreaming bigger, growing stronger, and developing skills that will help them both inside and outside the classroom.
