For some students, this was the first time they felt confident they would have the proper winter clothing for the season.\r\n\r\nWe have already begun using these resources during our daily routines and outdoor transitions. Students are now able to come in from recess comfortable, focused, and ready to learn instead of distracted by the cold. One of the most special moments was seeing students proudly wearing their new winter items and helping each other zip coats or adjust scarves. It created a beautiful sense of community and care within the classroom, where students are not only learning together but also looking out for one another.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these materials throughout the winter months as we engage in rigorous learning and prepare for STAAR.
