Me and my students were enjoying so much using the materials like the pens that they used for highlighting a sentence in a passage for them to use as an evidence in answering a question. Using their paddle board in answering questions instead of calling only one student. In this way all students has a chance to show their answers and be recognized. The bean bag that serves as a comfort space for them whenever they need to have a littler break from seating with their groups. The sharpener that helps us sharpen the pencils easily and it is really on tyime because we broke the one we had in our class. The white board eraser and magnets that gave the students colorful view on the board. Budgets are always tight so having an opportunity to request additional materials to work with our students was a blessing.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to open the boxes that were delivered to school. Here are a few more things they love doing with our new manipulatives. \r\nThey love the magnetic tiles. They are fun on the table or the light tables. They have to sort them by color then build their name and CVC words. If they need an uppercase letter and don't see it, they have to look for the corresponding lowercase letter because the uppercase letter is on the other side of the lowercase letter. This is helping greatly with those who have struggled recognizing uppercase and lowercase letters. \r\nThe CVC pencils are great for helping them identify the beginning, middle, and ending sounds of the words. The letter pencils and word cards have blue consonants and red vowels to help students spell the word correctly. \r\nWe are getting ready for first grade. Students are so excited to use the wonderful manipulatives you provided for our class.
