Even though we are the largest student body elementary in our district, we are not given much for our school library in our yearly budget. The funds that I get will not even cover to replace all of our lost or damaged books, let alone purchase new releases that the students want. By helping fund the book repair machine I have been able to keep some of our damaged books longer than before. The students really are enjoying seeing their favorites back on the shelves.\r\n\r\nI have just now gotten the hang of the machine. I have to admit, it did take be a while to get started. The repair machine arrived right before our 2 week break, and my library has been extremely busy since the return. Yesterday I was finally able to start on my mountain of damaged books.
