Using the baskets and gift bags, students worked in teams to thoughtfully organize each item, discussing how presentation and care can make someone feel valued. One meaningful moment stood out when a group of students paused to reread their handwritten notes, revising them to be more personal and encouraging because they wanted each recipient to truly feel supported during a stressful time.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate. They were eager to get started and genuinely touched that others believed in their idea enough to support it. Many students shared that it felt empowering to be trusted with a project focused on kindness and wellness, and they took great pride in contributing something positive to our school community.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students involve reflecting on the impact of this service project as part of our current lesson on leadership and community responsibility. They will discuss how small acts of kindness can improve school culture and explore additional ways they can support peer wellness in the future. This project has not only boosted morale across campus but has also helped my students grow as empathetic leaders who understand the power of compassion and teamwork.","fullyFundedDate":1765388501765,"projectUrl":"project/motivation-bags-fuel-encouragement-fo/9947807/","projectTitle":"Motivation Bags: Fuel & Encouragement for Finals","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mercan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10363580"},{"teacherId":10348747,"projectId":9899749,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, my science classroom has become more organized, engaging, and positive for students. The treats have been especially effective in reinforcing positive behavior and encouraging students to stay focused and motivated. Students take pride in earning these rewards, which has helped create a warm, respectful classroom environment where learning can thrive.\r\nWe are already using the paper cutter daily to prepare interactive science notebooks. Students are able to quickly add diagrams, foldables, and lab notes without long wait times, which keeps lessons moving smoothly and helps them stay organized. The presentation clicker has also transformed how lessons run—allowing me to move freely around the room while teaching, check for understanding, and keep students engaged during presentations and discussions.I have also started using the leather desk pad protector on my teacher table, which has helped create a more organized, professional, and efficient workspace for lesson planning.\r\nNext, students will continue building their interactive notebooks as we move into new science units and hands-on investigations, including simple experiments using classroom materials. With smoother transitions, better organization, and a strong positive culture, students are more confident participating, asking questions, and taking ownership of their learning. Your support has truly helped improve both the flow of instruction and the overall classroom experience, and my students benefit from it every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1764687683093,"projectUrl":"project/boosting-science-success/9899749/","projectTitle":"Boosting Science Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dumlu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10348747_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768628061782","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10348747"},{"teacherId":10348747,"projectId":9914361,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, my classroom has become a place where science is truly hands-on and exciting. We have already begun using the new materials in our chemical bonding unit, a topic that can be very challenging without visual and physical models. My chemistry students were thrilled when they first saw the molecule kits and immediately began building models. Using the Sodium Chloride Model Kit, students constructed ionic bonds and were able to clearly see how ions attract and connect. With the Molymod Molecular Ice Crystal Model Set, they explored how water molecules are arranged in solid form, which led to meaningful discussions and \"aha\" moments that would not have been possible with a textbook alone.\r\nThe excitement in the room was contagious as students worked together, asked deeper questions, and confidently explained their thinking to one another. These tools have allowed students to design mini investigations, collect observations, and strengthen their lab skills while learning through discovery.\r\nNext, we will continue using these resources across multiple units. The DNA model will support our upcoming life science unit with my 8th grade students, helping them visualize genetic structure. The double-walled calorimeter will be used in our thermochemistry unit to explore energy changes, and the electrolysis device, litmus paper, and magnetic water kit will deepen our understanding of chemical reactions and properties. Thanks to you, my students are experiencing science in a way that feels real, engaging, and empowering—and your support has made a lasting impact on their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1764081652505,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-science-to-life-hands-on-model/9914361/","projectTitle":"Bringing Science to Life: Hands-On Models for Future Scientists","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dumlu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10348747_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768628061782","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10348747"},{"teacherId":10348747,"projectId":9891447,"letterContent":"This project has had a positive impact on how my students learn chemistry.
