Many of my students come from communities that have historically been underrepresented in school curriculum and classroom resources. Your support will help change that by creating a Vietnamese language and Ethnic Studies classroom where students feel seen, valued, and empowered.\r\n\r\nThe MacBook will have an immediate impact on daily instruction and student learning. Students will use it to access multimedia resources, create presentations, develop digital storytelling projects, and explore topics such as identity, migration, family histories, and cultural resilience. \r\n\r\nThe hands-on materials will make learning more interactive and accessible. Students will create identity maps, cultural storytelling projects, collaborative timelines, vocabulary games, visual displays, and other project-based activities. Reusable learning tools made with the laminating pouches, dry-erase sleeves, cardstock, and other materials will allow students to practice language skills in engaging ways throughout the year.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these materials will help build a classroom community where students can connect their learning to their own experiences and learn from one another.
