Each student group was assigned a specific step of the tutorial process, and the boards provided them with the adequate space they needed to organize their thoughts, draw diagrams, and take detailed notes. Students were able to work side by side on the boards, brainstorming and mapping out their ideas in real-time. This was a huge improvement over our previous classroom setup, where limited space and small, fixed whiteboards often restricted collaboration and creativity.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboards quickly became a tool for more than just note-taking—they became an essential part of our students' presentations. Students used them to visually convey their ideas to their peers, creating clear, organized displays that helped their classmates understand each step of the AVID tutorial process. The ability to flip the boards and use both sides added a new dimension to their presentations. Some groups took full advantage of this feature, creating layered presentations that were not only informative but also interactive and visually engaging. This simple design feature has truly transformed how students share information and communicate their learning with others.\r\n\r\nIn addition to supporting structured learning, the whiteboards have had a significant impact on classroom collaboration. With three additional portable boards, students could spread out comfortably and work in separate areas without crowding. This allowed for more genuine discussions and group problem-solving, as students did not have to compete for space or worry about overlapping conversations.","fullyFundedDate":1752854828709,"projectUrl":"project/write-on-empowering-student-voices-with/9460554/","projectTitle":"Write On!
