The children now have a dedicated place to go to self regulate and calm down. This place is inviting, warm, and safe. \r\n\r\nThe students are able to utilize this space throughout the day when they need to. They are encouraged to advocate for themselves (using verbal and/ or non-verbal communication). When the materials are new and inviting, the children are more engaged and eager to choose the work off of the shelf! \r\n\r\nThe new containers allow me to display the work in organized and visible ways, which sparks interest from the students.
