These extra rekenreks have been able to help me provide a hands on opportunity for my students to be able to build the numbers to be able to add them together. All of my students have different learning styles and with these I am able to provide everyone a variety of options if that is what they find helps them the best.\r\nMany of my students enjoy being able to use different strategies on the rekenreks as well (counting on, making a ten, etc).
