I am writing to extend my most heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of my classroom project. Thanks to your kindness, my students and I have benefited in ways that have truly transformed our learning environment and I want you to know how deeply appreciated your contribution continues to be.\r\n\r\nWhen I first submitted this project, I was a first-year teacher just beginning to build the kind of creative, organized, and student-centered classroom I had always envisioned. At the time, I lacked many of the basic materials needed to support my students, particularly those who thrive through visual and hands-on learning. Now, as I begin my second year of teaching, I can proudly say that I am walking into a classroom that feels equipped, structured, and full of energy and so much of that is thanks to your generosity.\r\n\r\nYour donation helped us secure essential supplies like crayons, markers, pencils, and erasers all of which continue to be used daily by my students. These tools have made it possible for me to design colorful, interactive lessons that engage every type of learner. Whether students are illustrating their stories, participating in group activities, or expressing themselves through art, your support has brought creativity and excitement into the learning process.\r\n\r\nThe storage bins and caddies you provided have made a world of difference in helping us stay organized. These simple but powerful tools give students ownership of their materials, and have created a much more efficient and student-friendly space. The mobile filing cart and paper organizers have also helped me manage lesson plans and student work more effectively giving me more time and mental space to focus on what truly matters: teaching and connecting with my students.\r\n\r\nOne of the most cherished parts of your donation was the inclusion of toys and games for our indoor recess and calming corner. These materials are essential not just for play, but for emotional growth and self-regulation. Students now have the opportunity to take mindful breaks, develop social skills, and return to learning feeling calm and ready to engage. It's hard to measure how important that is, but I see the impact every single day.\r\n\r\nYour donation also allowed us to stock up on Sharpies and Expo markers, which I've used to create vibrant instructional posters, anchor charts, and classroom displays. These visuals help make abstract concepts more tangible and support my visual learners in a meaningful way. Finally, the cleaning supplies you helped us obtain have ensured that we can keep our classroom environment clean, safe, and welcoming for every student.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my classroom has grown from a space of possibility to a space of purpose. My students, especially those in our gifted and talented program, now have the materials and structure they need to thrive. You've helped me build a foundation that will continue to grow for years to come.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in the power of education and for investing in our classroom journey. Your generosity has had a lasting impact, and I am truly, truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1746658510828,"projectUrl":"project/see-to-learn/9313438/","projectTitle":"See to Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. GARCIA","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9927609"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_15429","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":772,"numTeachers":53,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":9,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":83.9,"schoolId":15429,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lively Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lively Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/irving-independent-school-district/lively-elementary-school/15429"}
