When the supplies arrived, my students were beyond excited. They loved seeing all the \"new stuff\" and immediately wanted to know what we would use it for. The paper is now a daily staple for writing, drawing, phonics work, and classwork, and the folders have helped my students feel so grown-up and responsible keeping their work together. The triangle pencils have been especially helpful for little hands that are still learning how to hold a pencil comfortably and confidently.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was using the woodland animal cutouts and labels to help organize and label our classroom. The students were so engaged as we walked around the room together, deciding where each animal sign belonged—labeling centers, supplies, and shared spaces. They loved recognizing the animals and proudly pointing out \"their\" spots throughout the day. Those simple signs have helped my students become more independent while also making our classroom feel warm, welcoming, and fun.\r\n\r\nWe are continuously building on these routines by strengthening writing skills, organizing student portfolios, and continuing to display student work around the room. These supplies are used constantly and make a big difference in helping my students feel confident, capable, and excited to learn. This simple change has already encouraged students to explore new genres, take more ownership of their reading choices, and spend more time engaged with books. The classroom feels more organized, welcoming, and purposeful as a learning space.\r\nYour thoughtful donation has directly supported literacy, curiosity, and a love of reading in our classroom. The bookshelves will be used and appreciated for years to come, and every student who pulls a book from those shelves will benefit from your generosity.\r\nThank you again for your kindness and support. Your kindness and commitment to education are already making a meaningful difference for my students.\r\n\r\nMy students are creative, curious, and eager to learn each day. In our classroom, paper is an essential tool we use constantly. Students rely on it for solving math problems, designing graphs, organizing their thinking, and creating colorful projects that showcase their learning. Because these materials are used so frequently, our paper supplies tend to run out quickly, making it challenging to ensure that every student always has what they need.\r\n\r\nBy funding this project, you are helping to provide my students with essential learning tools that support both academic growth and creativity. Copy paper allows us to print daily classwork, practice activities, and assessments. Graph paper supports hands-on math lessons and strengthens problem-solving skills. Colored paper adds excitement and engagement to projects, helping students express themselves and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThese simple but vital materials have a powerful impact. They help keep students motivated, confident, organized, and ready to learn. Because of your support, our classroom can continue to be a place where students feel prepared, supported, and excited about learning every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and for helping us create a classroom environment where every child has the tools they need to succeed. One of my favorite moments was watching students excitedly choose books that matched the season and then use them to answer questions, retell stories, and create their own sentences. For example, when reading 'The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell' the joy on their faces when they got to the end and saw her with Santa was priceless. These resources allowed me to target comprehension, vocabulary, and expressive language in a hands-on, engaging way while meeting students at their individual learning levels. When the students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They were eager to explore the books, flip through the pages, and immediately ask to read together. Many students who are typically hesitant or easily distracted were drawn in by the visuals and interactive nature of the resources, which helped build confidence and motivation around reading.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps include expanding literacy skills through deeper comprehension activities, story sequencing, and opportunities for students to make connections between texts and their own experiences. Students will continue using these materials to strengthen reading, language, and critical-thinking skills while developing a genuine love for learning. Your generosity gave students not just new tools, but meaningful experiences that will continue to support their growth throughout the year.","fullyFundedDate":1758803832030,"projectUrl":"project/falling-into-reading/9672150/","projectTitle":"Falling Into Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10081599_orig.jpg?crop=512,512,x0,y52&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753118906025","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10081599"},{"teacherId":9212097,"projectId":9665123,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my project Greeting Time Carpet.
