Traditionally, at a transfer school we are working with students who struggle to stay motivated and focused. It is being exacerbated by the way dopamine has been aggressively rewired and hijacked by social media and technology. The needs of our students only continues to grow, year by year, but it's the small things that can sometimes make the difference. Students have returned to share how much of a positive impact the squishies have had! Even alumni! A no tech throwback to sensory relief! Especially when they are having difficult moments of anger and frustration, or when life gets hard and they are struggling to make it through the day.
