We enjoyed learning with our new materials especially the counting trays. \r\nThey were able to visually counting, sorting, and yes, even graphing! \r\nSome students who were working on counting to 10 were excited to have the wooden counting blocks to help. Again, visual and tactical make a world of difference for them. \r\nWhole group lessons on greater than, less than have become more interactive with the big magnetic greater than, less than and equal magenta. They really like that they were colorful and had images that could help with ID what they need to solve. \r\nIt's does take a community to help those who need some extra supports in learning everyday skills. They were so excited to try the new materials and kept asking to use them each day. \r\nMarkers and glue sticks helped with projects and class work. \r\nThe kids really like the counting ice cream cone. We were also able to incorporate life skills and daily living skills with that item. Practiced filling orders, they loved it. \r\nThe kids love a good hand-on activity to keep them engaged as well.
