The resources that were provided have been assisting LPCA students in more ways than one. Students have the choice of sitting in a chair or a bean bag when they have a session. 4 out of 5 times, they will always pick a bean bag. The students have shared that they're more comfortable and it helps them relax as they discuss difficult topics. They also have the options of coloring or using fidgets to keep their hands busy while they chat. This assists them to focus and reduce any stress they are feeling. When students first enter my office, they immediately go to the fidget box and then take a seat. \r\n\r\nWe cannot thank you enough for your support in funding our project. Because of you, students at Legal Prep Charter Academy are able to foster trust, they are encouraged to have open communication and learn how to manage their stressors/anxiety.
