The students will be overly excited and eager to explore their new materials. We are so grateful for your support, thanks to you my students will be able to explore, learn, and build new connections through the arts. This project will have a positive impact on an entire school of rising stars and many more to come. We appreciate you for giving our students the opportunity to build hands-on meaningful experiences, gain confidence, and have a blast with their new friends in a safe inviting environment. \r\n\r\n Throughout the school year my students will be practicing for four different dance shows. The four shows are Winter Wonderland Dance Show, Spring Dance Show, Cultural identity show, and Moving up Ceremony/ Graduation. Our new vivid backdrops, curtains, vines, snow blankets, and chair sashes would help bring the seasons to life. With our new lamination machine we would be able to display student work for our dance shows as part of the decorations and save it as memories for families. Having themed costumes, Hawaiian flowers and skirts, liquid tiles, basketballs, props, binoculars, will allow my students to express emotions, build social and language skills, and have fun as they become the characters in the dance. The gym tape would be used to mark the lines and students spacing on the stage floor. All students should get the opportunity to fully explore music, dance, and art. My goal for this school year is to create an unforgettable dance, art, and music experiences to help my students grow by to learning new ways to communicate, learn about body awareness, create positive relationships with their peers/ teachers, and gain appreciation for the arts.","fullyFundedDate":1765473983317,"projectUrl":"project/dancing-with-the-stars-of-pre-k/9842645/","projectTitle":"Dancing With the Stars of Pre-K","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Price","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9731337_orig.jpg?crop=1063,1063,x0,y294&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757693822280","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9731337"},{"teacherId":8978476,"projectId":9707320,"letterContent":"Your donations allowed my students to fully immerse themselves in our curriculum unit covering Clothing. To be able to cross connect their experiences with curriculum is invaluable! Also having the opportunity to do this helps students to see themselves in the context, which makes the learning have more meaningful context. \r\n\r\nThe students were elated when they were first presented with the materials. One exclaimed \"Pretty shiny for the dress I gonna make!\" Another said, \"I get to be a Rockette soldier too! I tap dance!\" With these materials, I was able to provide an unforgettable learning experience for my students. \r\n\r\nAt the end of our unit, we put on a performance for the parents of my students. The children benefit so much from kinesthetic learning and your donation helped me to integrate a dance curriculum into our daily routine. \r\n\r\nThrough this study, my students have had the opportunity to see a live performance and conduct their very own for their parents! The fact that each of my children have their own pairs of dance shoes gives them a true sense of belonging and identity as a beginner dancer. Because of your kindness, my Pre-K students now have access to resources that have transformed our art area into a more organized, inspiring, and engaging learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe materials you provided play an important role in how my students learn each day. A color printer allows me to print vibrant art activities, visual supports, and learning materials that capture children's attention and support different learning styles. These visuals help students better understand instructions, explore colors and shapes, and make meaningful connections during art activities. The printer also makes it possible to share students' artwork with their families, which builds pride and strengthens the home–school connection.\r\n\r\nThe laminator has become an essential classroom tool. By preserving classroom charts, student name cards, and art-related materials, we are able to reuse them throughout the year. This consistency helps young children feel more confident and independent, as they can recognize familiar visuals and routines. Laminated materials also allow students to engage more freely, knowing the materials are durable and made just for them.\r\n\r\nThe books included in this project have been especially inspiring for my students. Through these books, children are introduced to colors, shapes, and famous artists in an age-appropriate way. The stories spark curiosity and often lead to thoughtful conversations and creative ideas that carry over into our art projects. Many students refer back to the books when creating their own artwork, proudly explaining the inspiration behind their choices.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting additions to our classroom has been the rolling cart. Keeping art supplies organized and easily accessible has encouraged independence among my students. Children are able to select materials on their own, clean up responsibly, and transition smoothly between activities. This organization helps reduce wait time and allows students to stay focused and engaged.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have especially thrived with these new resources. Children who were once hesitant to participate in art activities now show increased confidence, while others demonstrate improved focus and responsibility. Overall, these materials have helped create a joyful and supportive learning environment where creativity and learning go hand in hand.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for believing in our Pre-K students. Your support has made a meaningful and lasting difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758899161290,"projectUrl":"project/colorful-creations-helping-pre-k-artist/9672022/","projectTitle":"Colorful Creations: Helping Pre-K Artists Learn and Shine","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hae Youn Lee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9723053_orig.jpg?crop=2160,2160,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725311280540","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9723053"},{"teacherId":8465597,"projectId":9576761,"letterContent":"thank you for provided me with materials to support students in the first month of school and helping me create a warm and welcoming environment.
