The Valhalla foundation and News12 donation of these materials has helped the students continual growth in exploring the arts and has given the students to new ways of express themselves . This donation has helped the students draw connections to other subject areas, create positive relationships with their teachers/ peers, and gain appreciation of the arts.\r\n\r\nThe students have been exploring their new materials in many different ways. We created an obstacle course, a thanksgiving parade, a winter wonderland show, and so much more. Not only are the children utilizing the ipads, the teachers are too! I work in an ICT classroom with 3 other teachers. In the past, we were able to document learning on our phones. Due to a change in policy, we are no longer able to do that. With your generous donation we have been able to take pictures and videos of the children. \r\n\r\nLearning moves so fast in our class, being able to use the ipads to document a learning activity has been so helpful. Originally I thought I would use the ipads more for the children. Due to the excessive screen time children engage in out of school, I have decided to use very sparingly. Occasionally it is helpful to view a video in a small group.
