These headphones also help some of the students during testing situations where students have the text read to them. We always struggle to get enough headphones for students to use, and now we have them directly in our classroom available for students to use all the time (if needed). These headphones also help the visually impaired students within the building as well. Being able to have the daily supplies in my classroom helps tremendously as we do not have to go hunting for them for my students. It seems silly to ask for supplies like highlighters and pencils, but an English classroom needs those in order to thrive. We annotate our texts almost daily and I feel relief knowing we have them for students within the classroom. Post its also help us annotate the texts as well and we use them to summarize chapters that we read. They set up a Coffee Bistro at school where they make and sell items to staff. They make brown sugar shaken espresso, cookie butter espresso, caramel nespresso coffee, lemonades, teas, and Arnold Palmers. The students make the delivery orders to staff and collect payment. It is truly heart warming to see the eagerness and excitement on their faces when they come to \"work\". At the end of the \"shift\" students practice money skills by counting the funds and matching receipts. \r\nThe students were super excited when the materials arrived. The focus for the supplies that you purchased for us has been comic, animated, and sequential art forms. Many of the students are interested in this type of art in many different styles. \r\n\r\nThe first project this year that focused on this type of art was to choose or design a comic of their choice, then exaggerate the size and proportion of the bones that would make up the skeleton. They use the light boards across many different projects to transfer they drawings to different surfaces.
