Your donation has transformed our school library into a warm, organized learning environment where every child can thrive. We're using the bilingual board books regularly during story time sessions and independent reading, and the SEL themes have sparked wonderful conversations about feelings, friendship, and kindness across all grade levels from pre-K through 6th grade. The headphones have been a game-changer for our technology stations—students can now engage with educational apps and audiobooks without distraction, giving them the focused learning time they need to build early literacy skills.\r\n\r\nThe day the materials arrived was pure magic! My students' eyes lit up when they saw the colorful new books, and several immediately began flipping through pages, pointing at pictures, and sharing their observations with friends. The storage bins have helped us create clearly defined spaces for different materials, and I've watched students from K through upper elementary grow more independent as they learn to select, use, and return items to their proper places—building both responsibility and confidence.\r\n\r\nOur next steps involve deepening our SEL work through these beautiful new books, working with our school guidance counselor to deepen conversations. We'll also be incorporating the books into our dual-language learning stations, helping our English and Spanish speakers support each other's language development. Your investment in our school library is truly an investment in these children's social, emotional, and academic futures.
