As soon as they hear the speaker getting turned on, they immediately get quiet and look at me. Gaining student attention has never been easier! This is not the best part of having a microphone in class though. \r\n The best part of having a microphone in class is that because every student wants a chance to use the microphone, they are more willing to raise their hand to participate. The level of participation from all students has increased dramatically.
