These new books give my students opportunities to practice important skills like making predictions, building vocabulary, and connecting with characters on a deeper level. Reading time has become one of the most exciting parts of our day. Our reading time is filled with the quiet hum of pages turning, eager conversations about favorite characters, and the kind of energy that only comes from finding a book you just can't put down.\r\n\r\nThe difference in my students has been amazing. Some of my more hesitant readers are now racing to grab books as soon as they walk into the room, and others have proudly shared that they are reading more at home because they have finally found stories that speak to them. One student in particular, who had never finished a book before, recently carried one of our new titles everywhere until the very last page and then asked for another. These moments of excitement and confidence are because of you. Thank you for giving my students not just books, but a love of reading that will stay with them far beyond our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746786208459,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-book-haven-empowering-5th-gr/9287464/","projectTitle":"Building a Book Haven: Empowering 5th Grade Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Abesadze","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9730971_orig.png?crop=1592,1592,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745732620059","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9730971"},{"teacherId":9730971,"projectId":9299241,"letterContent":"When our trash grabbers arrived, my students were so excited and couldn't wait to use them! Thank you so much for making this project possible. The moment they saw the grabbers, they immediately started planning our first clean-up day around the school garden and playground. It was wonderful to watch them work together, safely collecting litter and proudly showing off how clean the area looked afterward. None of this would have been possible without your generosity!\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the chance to take ownership of their environment and make a real difference in our school community. They now feel empowered and motivated to keep our campus beautiful. Many have already suggested forming a \"Clean Team\" to continue our clean-up days and teach other classes about recycling.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly inspired my students to care for their surroundings, take pride in their work, and show leadership in their community.
