Hands-on learning makes such a powerful difference, and this experience truly helped bring important math concepts to life. Math is a subject where I intentionally incorporate hands-on activities whenever possible, and this project provided much-needed additional Polydron pieces for my students to use while working with 3D shapes.\r\n\r\nStudents were excited to put the pieces together to create 3D nets and explore surface area, and it has been an absolute game changer in their learning. Not all students are able to visualize whether a net will form a complete 3D shape, but this hands-on experience helped that concept finally click.
