Thanks to you, our classroom is now stocked with a treasure trove of new books and essential supplies, and the impact has been immediate and profound.\r\n\r\nOur students reacted with absolute wonder. For many, seeing brand-new, colorful books and organized supplies dedicated just for them was a thrilling moment. Although only a handful of students know how to read right now, they will really help when students begin decoding words and building that reading fluency. \r\n\r\nFor example, during our short 'A' lesson, a small group used the new books to practice consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words in a decoding center. The moment that stands out is when a group of emergent readers successfully read a short story about a cat and a cap and they had to find all the words that have the short a sound. In addition, the book helped with our literature standards on identifying the author and illustrator roles. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for all the support, we greatly appreciate!","fullyFundedDate":1746643295157,"projectUrl":"project/super-readers-for-super-students/9139407/","projectTitle":"Super Readers for Super Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rueda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp188574_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1486015321639","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/garibay"},{"teacherId":9886835,"projectId":9028874,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our students now have access to valuable social-emotional tools, games, and resources that are making a real difference in their lives.\r\nWith your support, we were able to purchase items that help bring counseling lessons to life—hands-on games that encourage teamwork, tools that help students learn to manage emotions, and activities that foster communication, empathy, and problem-solving. These resources are not just \"extras\"—they are essential for helping children build the social and emotional skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.\r\nAlready, we've seen students:\r\nEngage more fully in lessons because activities are interactive and fun.\r\nPractice coping skills in real time with tangible tools that help them manage stress and big emotions.\r\nDevelop stronger peer connections through games that teach collaboration, conflict resolution, and empathy.\r\nYour gift is helping us nurture resilient, confident, and caring young people.
