Students will be able to take seedlings home in the spring and see the fruits of their patience and labor as they begin to sprout and eventually produce fruit. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to see how plain corn meal can produce yummy corn tortillas by making our own in the classroom. We were able to use the purchased griddles and turning tools, we followed the recipe and tweaked it to fit our tastes, and we enjoyed a warm corn tortilla with butter.
