The impact on my students has been immediate and meaningful. One moment that really stood out happened just last week: a student who was feeling overwhelmed quietly walked over to the corner, used one of the sensory tools, and after just a few minutes was ready to rejoin our activity with confidence. It was such a clear reminder of how powerful this space is for our classroom community.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up. They were excited to explore the soft pillows, calming visuals, and mindfulness tools. Many of them immediately said things like, \"This feels so cozy!\" and \"I like that we have a safe place.\" The sense of ownership and comfort they feel in this space has been incredible, and it has quickly become one of their favorite parts of our classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our work this year, the cozy corner will play an important role in helping students build emotional awareness, self-regulation skills, and independence.
