The Order of Operations, Inequalities, and Types of Triangles posters have become daily tools for learning. My students regularly refer to them when working through problems, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in their confidence and accuracy. During a recent lesson on multi-step equations, one student pointed to the Order of Operations poster and said, \"This actually helps me remember what to do first!\" It's been amazing to see how these visuals support their thinking.\r\n\r\nThe posters of famous and influential mathematicians have sparked curiosity and deeper conversations. One student even asked if we could have a \"Mathematician of the Month\" spotlight to learn more about these inspiring figures. These posters have done more than decorate our walls—they've expanded students' views of who does math and why it matters.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these posters will continue to support our current and upcoming units, including geometry and data analysis. I plan to have students create their own mini-posters inspired by the ones in our classroom, combining math content with creativity and research. Your donation didn't just provide resources—it inspired a more engaging and inclusive math environment. \r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible!","fullyFundedDate":1732156098225,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-math-learning-with-essential-c/8562178/","projectTitle":"Enhancing Math Learning with Essential Classroom Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9343584_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1700204784632","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9343584"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32580","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":250,"numTeachers":10,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":98,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"11 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"25.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.7,"schoolId":32580,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about La Familia High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"La Familia High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/coachella-valley-unified-school-district/la-familia-cont-high-school/32580"}
