These books are some of the most sought after books at our campus. My students get to read these books during our independent read aloud time and they do it with some reading ambience thanks to your donation. (I'm told my students look forward to this part of our school schedule).\r\nWith your donation, my students have learned to build stamina in reading, which is what they need for taking state assessment. They have also learned to develop critical reading skills such as identifying plot elements, learning different text structures and identifying figurative language. These are books that are interesting to them, no matter what reading level they are, making it more enjoyable for them, which was always my ultimate goal.","fullyFundedDate":1734184912953,"projectUrl":"project/so-let-me-tell-you-a-story/8999055/","projectTitle":"So, Let Me Tell You a Story!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9869906"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_11501","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":301,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":7,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":89,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"9.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.6,"schoolId":11501,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about L.B.
