I hope you know the difference you've made.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we now have a vacuum cleaner that has truly transformed our learning space. With over 32 energetic students in and out each day, things can get messy quickly. The vacuum has helped us maintain a clean, welcoming, and healthy environment where students can focus on learning rather than distractions. It's also instilled a greater sense of pride and responsibility in my students as they take ownership of keeping their classroom tidy.\r\n\r\nThe individual whiteboards you provided have become one of our most-used tools during lessons. Whether we're working on math problems, spelling practice, or quick comprehension checks, students love having their own space to think and respond. These whiteboards have increased engagement and allowed me to give immediate feedback, which has been incredibly effective for learning.\r\n\r\nThe communication folders have helped create stronger connections between school and home. Students now have a reliable way to carry homework, notes, and classroom updates, ensuring that families stay informed and involved in their child's education. For many of my students, this structure has helped build important executive functioning skills like organization and responsibility.\r\n\r\nYour donations may seem like simple items, but in our classroom, they have had a real and lasting impact. You've made our days smoother, our learning more interactive, and our communication stronger. Most importantly, you've shown my students that there are people out there who believe in them and want to support their success.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you.","fullyFundedDate":1746457427162,"projectUrl":"project/ramirezs-5th-grade-classroom/9243104/","projectTitle":"Ramirez's 5th Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ramirez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9993324_orig.jpg?crop=3000,3000,x0,y150&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1744210165041","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9993324"},{"teacherId":993829,"projectId":9211736,"letterContent":"The students were very excited when the sewing machines and supplies arrived. The equipment was set up on two very long rectangle tables along with current sewing machines that we already had available to us.\r\n\r\nStudents watched videos on the parts of the machines as well as how to do each step. First, students practiced using the machines without material in order to get comfortable on how the machines work. After carefully measuring and cutting material, they got to work sewing their backpacks. Once the projects were completed, students proudly used their backpacks to carry supplies from home to school and back home again.\r\n\r\nThis project gave students a more clear understanding on how measurement using rulers is used in our daily lives. They used fractions to refer to measurements, which also extended math beyond simple word problems but to actual life projects. Several students enjoyed this so much that they bought their own sewing machines for home.","fullyFundedDate":1742961924798,"projectUrl":"project/computerized-sewing/9211736/","projectTitle":"Computerized Sewing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rivers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp993829_orig.jpg?crop=144,144,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742916789885","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mary-rivers"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_98240","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":892,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":53,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":34,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":59,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"27.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.2,"schoolId":98240,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Krystal School of Math Science & Technical on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Krystal School of Math Science & Technical","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/hesperia-unified-school-district/krystal-school-of-math-science-tech/98240"}
