One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students solve a subtraction problem by physically regrouping blocks—suddenly, the concept \"clicked\" for them in a way that paper and pencil alone never could.\r\n\r\nWhen the new lamp and Alexa arrived, the room was buzzing with excitement. The lamp has created a calming, cozy atmosphere that students often choose for independent reading, making that time feel special and inviting. Alexa has also been a wonderful support—students love asking for timers during activities or requesting calming music during writing time. Their faces lit up when they realized the new resources were just for them, and they've taken great pride in using them responsibly.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing to incorporate these tools into ongoing projects. Students will soon begin a math challenge that involves building and explaining their solutions using manipulatives, which they can then share with the class. Our Alexa will support them in keeping track of time and transitions, and our flexible lighting will make the classroom feel like a welcoming space for focused learning. It has created a warm and inviting spot where students feel connected and ready to learn together.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was during our first story time on the new rug. My students sat in a circle, completely engaged, and several of them said, \"It feels like home in here now!\" The stools have also been a hit—students love being able to choose a seat at the table that makes them feel comfortable and included during small group lessons.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue to use the rug for building community and fostering collaborative learning, and the stools will support small group projects where students can share ideas and work closely with one another.
