They have been BEGGING me to do volleyball and as soon as we started, they were complaining their arms hurt. These trainers are the best way for them to be able to play and not \"feel the burn\" in the negative way.\r\n\r\nThe basketball's are also a savior for my littles as they are much easier to manage and less \"scary\" to shoot with as they are safer and softer than a real basketball. \r\n\r\nWhen they first saw them they didn't notice a difference as they look like the originals. But once they started playing with them, their whole demeanor changed. They weren't as hesitant and they were more willing to try these sports. \r\n\r\nMy next steps for a project is going to be more equipment for my special needs students. The students we are reading them to are getting very excited about field day! As a newer school some students didn't have field day at all and for some it is really helping their anxiety about what is to come. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the books they were so excited to let me read to them. Who doesn't love a good read aloud? \r\n\r\nThe buckets have come in very handy to help me divide out the equipment and things I will need for each station. \r\n\r\nI haven't put water in them yet but that is next on the list! \r\n\r\nSome other projects I am working on is getting some better equipment for my extensions and special needs classes. It still isn't low enough!\r\n\r\nMy special needs students were beyond excited to see a basketball hoop that they can be successful with as well. \r\n\r\nAll my classes had the \"excited whispers\" as I call them, when they walked into the gym.
