I ordered supplies to make graduation leis for this year's graduating seniors. \r\n\r\nThe students in our alternative education programs have chosen this path due to a variety of challenges and/or obstacles. Many have chosen online school because they were unable to be successful in a traditional educational setting. We offer online homeschool, as well as online in person class, and an in person pathway to a GED. As a result of our setting, our students miss out on much of the typical high school experience. \r\n\r\nMy fellow teachers and I used the materials you so generously provided to create graduation leis for each of our graduating students, including those who are completing a GED. The leis help to make the occasion feel a little more special, and also celebrate the accomplishments of our students.
