I've had other students start wanting to understand how the interface works so they can be ready to try and create sound bytes for business assignments or my yearbook kids trying to create audio ads for our yearbook group.\r\n With the Clarett+ Audio Interface, the quality of the sound being recorded is much higher compared to the 20+ year old interface that was there before. The same student working on his album is able to connect the interface to his laptop directly to record directly to his device. Something the older equipment was not capable of doing being on a connector that is no longer supported anymore. They were able to give me feedback on how much easier it is to modify and smooth out the clarity of what's being recorded and how it's much easier to monitor when the sound peaks at the louder decibel level as well as the higher levels.\r\n I have my yearbook kids being able to work with it a bit to see what needs to be done when working on recording strictly audio. Some are in marching band, while others don't have much experience with messing with audio technology. They've been able to establish a weekly time to put together ad ideas that they can provide on both radio ad placement to sharing on social media to spread the word on buying yearbooks. Another student, as mentioned before, has recorded much cleaner audio and is incredibly happy with the advancement of the equipment and the ease of use to modify how the sound is recorded for him to produce three more songs on top of the eleven he has out there. He hope to try and have the space completely treated to get a fully professional recording studio.\r\n Thank you all once more for your donations and giving my kids an opportunity to really push their talents to new levels.","fullyFundedDate":1746785989165,"projectUrl":"project/small-studio-big-ambitions/9138404/","projectTitle":"Small Studio, Big Ambitions","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Messer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9934346_orig.jpg?crop=1512,1512,x0,y5&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741028096939","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9934346"},{"teacherId":5011304,"projectId":9207973,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support of my Adulting 101 students!\r\n\r\nWe have talked about the struggles of cooking for 1, the impact of eating out and fast food, and looked at ideas of quick, healthier than fast food recipes. Your donation allowed us to learn some basic cooking skills, like measuring, using appliances, and safety in terms of food safety and cooking safety.\r\n\r\nThe students loved being able to actually try to cook and learn how to make meals. They were able to make a chicken, broccoli, macaroni and cheese meal in a few minutes in the InstaPot. The also made bagel pizzas in the air fryer. The biggest hit was a chicken, bacon, ranch panini in the George Foreman grill. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting my classroom and helping me with teaching these seniors how to be healthier and save a little money by not eating out!
