These texts have already made a meaningful impact on my students' learning experience. The graphic novels help introduce key skills such as close reading, interpreting complex language, and analyzing character motivations, while also building confidence with Shakespeare's challenging text. By pairing original language with modern translation and visuals, students are able to focus on comprehension, mood, and theme rather than feeling overwhelmed by unfamiliar wording.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is interactive and student-centered. Students read aloud, annotate, discuss scenes in small groups, and make connections between the text and modern situations. The graphic novels have added an exciting visual layer to this process, allowing students to better track plot, understand emotions, and visualize action. Many students who were initially hesitant to read Shakespeare are now more willing to participate, ask questions, and engage in discussion.
