It's an incredible feeling knowing that there are people in the world that are willing to support a project for students and staff that they've never met. The kind words and encouragement I've received from all of you has been so uplifting, and it's truly helped me find the positives in a system that is being challenged right now. \r\n\r\nThe wish list you helped fulfill was full of toys, equipment, and activities meant to encourage growth in their fine and visual motor skills, and to help prepare them for higher task demands as they move up grades. My students have shown wonderful growth and engagement with all of the new equipment, and it's been awesome to see how excited they get when new toys and activities are shown to them (and they don't even realize they're working on specific fine and visual motor skills!). Your generosity has also allowed me to bring in items that incorporate sensory activities, such as sensory bins and sensory writing, which is also assisting greatly with their attention and regulation skills. \r\n\r\nOverall, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
