The students absolutely love the colorful emotion plushies—they've even started acting out the different facial expressions! This has significantly increased their ability to recognize emotions and apply that understanding in real-time communication. I've heard students say things like, \"I am sad. I want the toy,\" or \"She is angry. She wants to jump,\" to let staff know how they or their peers are feeling and what they might need. It's been a beautiful and impactful development.\r\n\r\nThe soft, bath-time-style books were a perfect fit for our classroom. The sense of pride and teamwork they displayed was incredible to witness!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the supplies, their faces lit up with pure excitement. They could hardly believe all of it was just for them! The new water bottles have also made a huge difference. With temperatures rising, staying hydrated has become a priority, and now each student has their own bottle to fill and take outside. It's helped create healthy habits and added a new level of responsibility to their day. Our next step is to tie these outdoor activities into our classroom learning, like using recess games for math graphing or writing reflections on sportsmanship and teamwork.
