In this project, we were able to get so many cool new chapter books that our student favorites like: Dog Man (in English and Spanish), and other cool graphic novels. \r\n\r\nWe use these books during our independant reading time which we look forward to everyday. My students have a designated, separate gym class, and they absolutely light up when they use the long tunnel to chase one another through it. The moment they first saw these items, their excitement was overwhelming (and mine was too). Watching them immediately engage with the materials was incredibly meaningful.\r\n\r\nLast year was the first year I launched a K–2 cluster classroom at my school, and it was truly the most challenging and rewarding year of my life. When I look back at how far my students have come from this time last year to now, it feels unreal. Their growth, confidence, and joy remind me every day why this work matters. The materials have created a relaxed, focused atmosphere where every student can find a spot to truly engage with the content.\r\nHonestly, it was better than a field trip. When we unveiled the spinning wheel, pencil sharpener for colored pencils, and the light projector, there was a collective gasp—one of the students actually shouted, 'Are these ours?!' That moment was priceless. They didn't just see supplies; they saw themselves as capable readers and mathematicians.\r\nNow that we have these essentials supplies for my students, we are able to do and get so much more done with our day. We couldn't have even imagined this level of authentic, hands-on learning without your help. \r\nYour belief in my students has given them the tools and the confidence to not just learn, but to create, explore, and get a little messy along the way.
