With whiteboards, I can give feedback instantly and in real time, making quick adjustments to show how structure and word choice impact the skill. Students feel more comfortable experimenting with their writing when it is easily erasable and knowing that mistakes can be easily corrected or disappeared! Post-it poster paper has also encouraged collaboration, allowing students to share their ideas and thinking visually in a large format. They were especially eager to choose their own colorful writer's notebooks, which immediately sparked enthusiasm for our creative writing warmups. \r\n\r\nThe pocket folders have already made a huge difference in keeping their handouts and materials organized—no more lost papers! Each class now has its own color, making it easy for both me and the students to stay organized. I keep a folder as well, so when a student struggled with executive functioning, we can go through it together and organize their work. It is incredibly helpful!\r\n\r\nMoving forward, I'll continue using these materials to build strong writing habits and keep everything in one place for easy review.
