My students have truly appreciated the flexible seating stools, which give them both comfort and choice as they learn. The chair bands have been an especially big hit—those wonderfully wiggly third-grade legs finally have something productive to do during work time. These tools have helped create a classroom environment where focus, movement, and engagement all work together.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has also allowed me to create colorful, engaging posters with the Mr. Sketch markers and to laminate countless materials that support both academic learning and social-emotional growth. From visual aids to community-building activities, these resources have elevated the learning experience in ways that are already making a difference. My students were incredibly excited to unbox all our new items. I took the time to explain to them how each item was donated just for them. I hope that I instilled a sense of pride in my students. \r\n One of the biggest hits was the space themed privacy folders. Each class was thrilled to see the beautiful new privacy folders. They were eager to get the chance to use them for their next test. Little did they know, their excitement benefited me because they were much more focused when their next assessment came around. \r\n The classroom set of highlighters was also a favorite of the students. Their social studies teacher taught them to use three different colors to highlight text evidence when constructing a written response. I was able to see them implement those skills with the new highlighters. \r\n Our new materials created a buzz in our classroom. Students were excited to use the supplies on their classroom assignments. An excited student is a student who is ready to learn and for that, I am grateful. Thank you for all you do for educators. I cannot thank you enough.","fullyFundedDate":1746785669985,"projectUrl":"project/mscampbells-5th-grade-classroom/9211592/","projectTitle":"Ms.Campbell's 5th Grade Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Campbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9910109"},{"teacherId":9910109,"projectId":9178286,"letterContent":"Thank you for taking the time to donate to my classroom. My students were overjoyed to have a fan for our room. We are on the second floor and it does get hot. When the students get too warm it makes them uncomfortable and it becomes hard for them to focus. The oscillating fan has been able to cool us all down! \r\n The blue Lakeshore Flex-Space seats have been a great addition to our calming corner. In this space students are able to be nice and cozy while they sit and read. The seats are also easy to move if the students are looking to work elsewhere in the room. \r\n The art supplies such as the crayons, scissors, and colored pencils are a staple in our classroom. This year I have a very creative group of students. They were very excited to have brand new materials to use. By providing us with classroom sets, students no longer have to share the simplest of materials. It provides a productive learning environment with less interruptions. \r\n Again, thank you so much for donating. The education of our students is crucial. I am grateful for the opportunity to enrich their experiences.","fullyFundedDate":1746785753442,"projectUrl":"project/mscampbells-5th-grade-classroom/9178286/","projectTitle":"Ms.Campbell's 5th Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Campbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9910109"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60455","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":194,"numTeachers":16,"percentFrplEligible":29,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.3,"schoolId":60455,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Joseph G Luther Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Joseph G Luther Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/swansea-school-district/joseph-g-luther-elementary-school/60455"}
