They have been able to share information with each other as they work in groups. This has promoted student interaction and mathematical conversations especially when using data. My students have been able to quickly generate graphs and scatterplots to share with the class. This has made it easier to understand and see the results. \r\n What is most exciting about my students using the graphing calculators is the fact that they can focus on explaining what they learn from the data rather than just plotting points. There have been times where students have been able to predict outcomes using the data that they see in the calculator. This gives them the opportunity to think about why graphical illustrations are important.\r\n I have several students that are exceptional with technology. They have been able to gain confidence in class because they quickly understand the basics of the calculator. This would not have been possible without your help. My students love working with these supplies. Students that would not be as excited about learning if they did not use the new materials. The earbuds that were part of this project were used to do individualized remediation and for encouraging students learn more on the topics. It was a great time for the students. \r\n\r\nOnce again I must say how appreciative we are for your support. It truly made a difference in the lives of these children. The mobile makerspace is enhancing student creativity and relieving stress for many of our students. They work so much harder when they have quality supplies, and these students are very behind in their artistic experiences with different media and materials. \r\n\r\nCombining these wonderful materials with giving them the space they need to heal has been so good for my students. They are able to explore themes of peace, home, nature, comfort and show what some of these words mean to them. \r\n\r\nWe are so very grateful for your donation and support.
