We have only been through half a year, yet my students have already shown significant growth thanks to your support.\r\n\r\nThe Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches have been a crucial element for our Literacy and Math subjects, but these materials have also helped in every single subject, Language, Social Studies, Science, and in the children's socioemotional learning.\r\n\r\n By laminating colorful materials, they can be manipulated interactively by our Pre-K students. The materials become reusable for students, allowing them to revisit learning as needed.\r\n\r\nWhat is most exciting to my students about these resources is that they get to interact with colorful, dynamic learning. They love to practice writing their names in proper sequence. For this activity, they use fun, colorful laminated name cards to make it visible in case they need a reminder of the order of their letters, and also a colorful puzzle with the letters of their names. \r\n\r\nThe laminating materials have brought a wonderful educational experience for my students and will continue to be actively used throughout the year to laminate centers for each subject, as well as other dynamic activities.\r\n\r\nAll of my students have warmed to the diverse laminated materials. Some of their favorite activities are building letters and numbers on the resistant, colorful laminated mats. They are always engaging in hands-on activities related to the week's theme. A future project includes sending the families a beautiful Holiday laminated photo to collect a wonderful memory of their student.\r\n\r\nWe thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making these experiences possible for our classroom and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1757682343788,"projectUrl":"project/laminating-my-learning-so-that-it-lasts/9446387/","projectTitle":"Laminating My Learning So That It Lasts Forever! They were immediately drawn to the sensory materials like the sand tray and playdoh, and couldn't wait to explore. During center time, they began forming letters and numbers with the playdoh, which kept them engaged while strengthening their fine motor skills in a fun, hands on way. The listening telephones have also become a class favorite. Students love hearing their own little voices as they practice letter sounds, making phonemic awareness practice exciting.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been a huge hit, too. We've used them during literacy games to focus on our letter of the week and the first letter of each student's name. The kids love how comfortable they are, and because they're sturdy, I don't have to worry about them breaking easily. Most importantly, the headphones help students fully engage and clearly hear the sounds making their learning focused and fun.\r\n\r\nCenters are no longer \"boring\". Students are excited to dive in and stay on task. The new materials have kept students motivated and prevented them from getting sidetracked, giving them meaningful practice with foundational skills. These tools have truly made learning fresh, engaging, and joyful.\r\n\r\nI'm so excited to continue exploring more of our new resources as the year goes on!","fullyFundedDate":1746785593979,"projectUrl":"project/play-learn-grow-enhancing-center-time/9138995/","projectTitle":"Play, Learn, Grow: Enhancing Center Time for Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Flores","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9934619_orig.jpg?crop=2380,2380,x267,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741105471320","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9934619"},{"teacherId":5995010,"projectId":9022345,"letterContent":"When my students first saw the materials from this project, they yelped with joy! After our conversation about gratitude and the importance of taking care of school supplies, my young students were eager to find out when they would start to use the fantastic, new materials. \r\n\r\nOne of my favorite lessons consisted of identifying letters, words, and pictures. After the fun and interactive lesson, my students were ready to use the small dry-erase whiteboards, mini erasers, and the Expo dry-erase markers. In the independent activity, they chose to write a letter, a word, or a picture and had conversations with their classmates about their work.\r\n\r\nThere are many more academic success exercises in which my students participated. Writing letters, numbers, words, sentences, their name, and also directed or independent drawing. Some of the favorite materials in the art center were The Scented Markers and the Creative Caddy Rotating Art Organizer. The manila paper was a crucial material for my children to engage in drawing and writing daily. Last but not least, the dry-erase pocket sleeves were used by my students in writing activities and all content interactive centers. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for making a huge difference in my classroom. The materials for this project have been crucial for my students to engage in high-quality art and writing activities.","fullyFundedDate":1740696915971,"projectUrl":"project/art-and-writing-materials-for-creative-e/9022345/","projectTitle":"Art and Writing Materials for Creative Expression in Pre-K4","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lopez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5995010_orig.jpg?crop=1640,1640,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1563481861613","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5995010"},{"teacherId":5995010,"projectId":9061719,"letterContent":"I am truly thankful for your contribution to my project: ''Laminating My Learning So That It Lasts Forever!''. The Scotch laminator and the laminating pouches came just in time to support education in my classroom for my dear students. \r\n\r\nWhen we saw these new materials, my students, my teaching partner, and I were extremely grateful to receive these life-changing, essential classroom resources! My teaching partner and I have used the laminator and laminating pouches in the classroom to laminate our students' learning centers. The young learners have been able to engage in amazing instructional, hands-on activities that have been laminated previously with the resources from this project. We have laminated resources for different themes that change weekly and for all classroom centers (art, math, science, abc, writing, pretend and learn, library, and construction). \r\n\r\nThe materials have also been used to laminate alphabet resources for students to take home and have deeply enhanced their academic knowledge! I also continued to motivate them to have a great attitude and grateful hearts towards learning and school. \r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh Modeling Compound, the Didax Unifix Cubes, the Lakeshore Pipe Builders, and the Stack & Build Soft Blocks have positively impacted my students' academic experience. They are all my students' favorite resources. Play-Doh is the most versatile material. It has been used across the curricular subjects. Letters, numbers, shapes, names, simple words, and figures have all been formed by my preschoolers with the Play-Doh. My students also love to build letters, numbers, shapes, and objects with the Lakeshore Pipe Builders. \r\n\r\nFinally, I want to include that they love to build with the Unfix Cubes and the Stack & Build Soft Blocks. Students generally use them in our Construction Center or Stem Center. My students have amazed me throughout these weeks and months with everything they have been creating with these materials, and I have noticed how each time they can create more complex products; some future projects include stem activities that are aligned to the following Pre-K themes.
