I learned how to integrate trauma-informed mindfulness practices, inclusive yoga poses adaptable for all bodies and abilities, and social-emotional learning strategies grounded in compassion and connection. The program emphasized how movement, breathwork, and emotional regulation can be woven seamlessly into the school day to support students with autism and special needs. I now feel more confident and equipped to create a classroom environment where my students can pause, recenter, and build the self-awareness they need to thrive.\r\n\r\nThe highlight for me was connecting with educators from across the country who are committed to wellness, equity, and healing in schools. Practicing these techniques together—and experiencing firsthand what calm, mindful energy can do—was incredibly powerful. It reminded me how deeply students benefit when the adults guiding them feel grounded and supported too.\r\n\r\nBecause of this training, I'm now preparing to extend these benefits beyond my classroom. I'll be able to lead mindfulness and wellness workshops for families and staff, offering tools that support emotional well-being school-wide. The impact of your support is truly multiplying.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in this vision and helping bring these practices to our school community.
