This is so exciting. Generosity like yours has afforded us some great fun, valuable learning, and improved technology. Thanks again for being willing to donate to my students. Thank you, thank you, and thank you! Your gift is so critical to our school. Thank you so much for believing in our kids and offering them tools to succeed. I was so excited when my request was funded. Equally excited to share the new equipment with my students. Big changes have been happening in our school this year. The students will love learning how to use the new 3d printers, while improving brain function and classroom learning. It is always exciting to get new equipment to keep up with the ever changing technology. When you see this excitement through the lens of a child, you can appreciate it even more. My students are so happy! I thought I knew how wonderful it would be to have a new 3d printer. But when we our older printers stopped working, it seemed that all was lost. With all the new printers and filament, through this project, I no longer have to try to explain how something is manufactured or show pictures of samples, we can make whatever the students imagine. Watch out world we are unstoppable now!\r\n\r\nThank you for making me look like the coolest teacher ever! When the Bambu printers arrived in my classroom my students were in awe. After the awe wore off the fun and excitement began. We had so much fun and the learning was going through the roof. The students had no idea that they were learning things as they printed. Even those students that are often reluctant to participate were printing up a storm! Showing students new and innovative ways to learn and have fun is critical to the student's futures. The new 3d printers has really helped in keeping the kids interested in this technology. They no longer have to wait until we fix or try to save up to buy a new printer. Thank you so much for believing in us and supporting my program. It is humbling to me to reflect on how much your support has meant to my students and to me. You are heroes to us all.!!\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation to my robotics class and program has been incredible. Thank you so much for your generosity in donating to this project. I was so excited that so many people were willing to give to students they have never met and help to build our robotics program.\r\nOn behalf of my students, thank you again for your support. You have helped bring joy, excitement, and new opportunities to my students, during a time of uncertainty in our schools and the way we are used to instruction. Our future engineers are learning to work as cohesive teams, and constantly learn from each other in the process.","fullyFundedDate":1726861512317,"projectUrl":"project/inspiring-students-with-new-3d-printers/8713396/","projectTitle":"Inspiring Students With New 3d Printers","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp614953_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x76,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1575358478803","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/joewalker"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_85590","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":818,"numTeachers":38,"percentFrplEligible":61,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":29,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":48,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"21.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.4,"schoolId":85590,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Joe Walker Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Joe Walker Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/westside-union-school-district/joe-walker-middle-school/85590"}
