We use it daily to accompany our middle school chorus classes. The additional features of a built in metronome and different instrument voices have been super helpful with sight reading. My Music Tech classes are using this piano to practice and perform their music for class and are loving the \"real piano\" feel of the weighted keys and the working pedal. I've even had some of the high school choir classes send singers in here to use it for sectional rehearsals. It's so nice to have a beautiful instrument to share.\r\n\r\nThe students in my class were shocked at how big the box was when it first arrived, but they were happy to help me unpack the piano and get the pieces set up. it was very easy to assemble and came together in one class period and with just one tool! Since it's arrival, we have had to move it, and the students that helped roll it to it's new location commented on how easy it is to move and how stable it feels when you play it. We could not be more grateful for your generous contribution. We can't wait to use this piano in our upcoming spring concerts. We were previously using an oversized cabinet whose primary purpose was for a desktop computer 20 years ago that had a sound system built in (neither of which do we still have). As such, it was taking up much more space and was not able to be used as a desk since you couldn't even put your legs underneath it to sit at. This new desk is much more functional, allows me to use it sitting or standing (even with students when necessary) and takes up much less space. This has had a tremendous impact on the teaching environment. Something as simple as having the correct tools (triangle beaters) to play an instrument with or items to help fix an instrument or things to make an already existing piece of equipment function better (hi-hat clutch lock) and more functional/portable (rolling keyboard stand) have such a HUGE impact on the classroom. \r\n\r\nThese items were able to be ordered thanks to your very generous donations.
