We were previously using an oversized cabinet whose primary purpose was for a desktop computer 20 years ago that had a sound system built in (neither of which do we still have). As such, it was taking up much more space and was not able to be used as a desk since you couldn't even put your legs underneath it to sit at. This new desk is much more functional, allows me to use it sitting or standing (even with students when necessary) and takes up much less space. This has had a tremendous impact on the teaching environment. Something as simple as having the correct tools (triangle beaters) to play an instrument with or items to help fix an instrument or things to make an already existing piece of equipment function better (hi-hat clutch lock) and more functional/portable (rolling keyboard stand) have such a HUGE impact on the classroom. \r\n\r\nThese items were able to be ordered thanks to your very generous donations.
