By integrating these interactive tools with reading activities, students explored engineering concepts like problem-solving, critical thinking, and design while reinforcing their literacy skills. These kits made abstract STEM ideas tangible and engaging, giving students a deeper understanding of both language and engineering. In 5th grade they learned about force and motion and programed and created a windmill.","fullyFundedDate":1731503030718,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-reading-and-stem-with-lego-spik/8930345/","projectTitle":"Bridging Reading and STEM With Lego Spike","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ziada Brandt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6993484"},{"teacherId":8338394,"projectId":9027791,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping our school purchase an electronic keyboard with rolling stand and a set of classroom seat cushions.
