My 12 inch thermometers fit in there as well as supplies for pairs-of-students during labs. Lab partners can now simply come up and grab their \"bin\" of materials and supplies for the day! I think this year there's a possibility of each and every student getting their own owl pellet to dissect during our Body Systems unit and that has never happened before! \r\nThe pellets come in different sizes and these are definitely the large ones which mean there are more bones, and a better chance of having intact skulls with jaws attached. The skeletons inside the pellets are the small rodents or even birds that the owls eat. We use a bone chart that came with the package actually to identify the type of animal the owl consumed.
