The excitement on my students' faces when we opened the box was unforgettable. These new books have brought fresh energy into our reading time and have truly transformed the way we approach literacy in our room. We've been diving into stories that spark curiosity, encourage thoughtful discussion, and build deeper comprehension skills. Whether it's making inferences, identifying theme, or analyzing character motivation, these books have been the perfect tools to guide our lessons in a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become a cherished part of the day. Students curl up in cozy corners or buddy up with a partner, fully engaged in their books. One student in particular, who was previously reluctant to read, has found a new favorite series among the titles you helped provide, she now begs for more time to read and even recommends books to her classmates! It's moments like these that remind me just how powerful access to the right books can be. Thank you for helping us grow a love for reading that will last well beyond this school year.","fullyFundedDate":1728013849754,"projectUrl":"project/pages-of-possibility-building-a-class-l/8726992/","projectTitle":"Pages of Possibility: Building a Class Library for Young Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Foster","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9613112"},{"teacherId":9816513,"projectId":8904062,"letterContent":"Our classroom wants to thank you for the wonderful sensory items you provided. When I told the students our project was funded they couldn't believe someone would give our classroom so many \"toys.\" About a week later, items began arriving and every morning the kids waited to see what would come next.\r\n\r\nWe have used the sensory tools for all kinds of activities. We used some of the pink confetti in the sensory tubs and found transportation vehicles during our unit on transportation. It worked well because it was also the week of Valentine's Day so the color matched. I think the kids' favorite is the kinetic sand. They love molding items, filling the wood jars, and \"making ice cream\" with the bowls.\r\n\r\nI want to especially thank you because you have provided my students with an opportunity to build fine motor skills in a fun and exciting way. I have already seen a huge difference in their name writing since the kids have been using the grasping tools.
