This project was to add some amazing bean bags for my classroom along with other items for my peace corner. The peace corner is a place students can rest, nap, regroup their emotions, and sit for some quiet time. As you can see in the photo, there is currently a student taking a nap on one of those beanbags. They are large, colorful, and very full. They are completely able to be sanitized and wiped down after use. The previous beanbags I had, were hand me downs, very dirty, and had little filling in them. I had to actually throw 2 of them away from students throwing up on them. I have students who need to have time to decompress, sleep, rest, etc. every day. They LOVE these new beanbags. They were an upgrade and I could not have purchased them myself. \r\n\r\nI am so grateful for all the donations! While using the mini Spheros, students were learning how to write and debug code, test their ideas, and revise their thinking as they navigate the maze. This process has strengthened their perseverance, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.\r\nYour support has not only provided valuable STEM tools, but it has also inspired curiosity, confidence, and creativity in my students. Experiences like this help them see themselves as engineers, programmers, and innovators—and that impact will last far beyond our classroom.\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and for helping make learning come alive.
