All of the sheet music has arrived, and I've already started passing it out to students. Currently, we are working on \"Milestones\", which is a piece written by Miles Davis. We are using it to practice short/staccato rhythms, saxophone chords, and whole ensemble balance. \r\n\r\nFor our Pops concert in June, I am planning on having the students play \"Come Fly With Me\" and \"25 or 6 to 4\". \"Come Fly With Me\" was a student request, so being able to use student input to shape our programming is an incredible privilege! The other pieces from this project will be used (and re-used) in years to come, providing our ensembles the chance to play quality and historically significant music that they will hopefully remember for a long time.
