The dinosaur marble run and dolls have made play time even more creative. When the items first arrived in the big boxes, my students literally squealed with excitement! \r\nThe letter trays will continue to help build skills within my students as we move from just spelling words to making sentences next. \r\nThank you again for believing in my students and for donating these to our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755719228190,"projectUrl":"project/my-ks-kindergartners-are-here-to-learn/9596516/","projectTitle":"My Ks (Kindergartners) Are Here to Learn Through Play!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Garcia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp121488_orig.jpg?crop=172,172,x0,y28&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755195599163","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/121488"},{"teacherId":119460,"projectId":9710344,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the generous donation for our classroom. Last year, I was able to purchase engaging spiral review materials to help my students prepare for state testing, including materials for a fun Minecraft day. I was also able to bring our studies of \"Treasure Island\" and the Oregon Trail to life with some fun, pirate and pioneer themed activities. \r\n\r\nSo far this year I have been able to provide my struggling readers with fluency passages that are current and enticing to kids today. I have also bought some fun science activities that got my students out of the classroom and engaging in hands-on experiments.\r\n\r\nThe best part is that I still have some funds remaining and will be able to provide even more awesome resources for my students throughout the year. For many of my students, learning is most effective when it is hands-on and tangible. The 3D printer allows us to transform abstract concepts into real objects that students can see, touch, and explore. This has been especially powerful for learners who benefit from concrete, visual representations.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students has been watching their digital designs come to life. They take so much pride in creating something on the computer and then holding it in their hands just hours later. It has boosted engagement, curiosity, and confidence in ways I could not have imagined.\r\n\r\nOne student, who often struggles to stay motivated in class, has taken a particular interest in designing adaptive tools for everyday tasks. Seeing his ideas become real has not only sparked his creativity but also given him a new sense of purpose and belonging. Stories like his remind me how transformative this resource is for all my students.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make learning interactive, inclusive, and inspiring. The books donated have quickly become favorites amongst the children. Your donations have instilled a love of books and reading, which is essential for a child's academic success. Our class loves to pick a book to read together at the end of the day.\r\nThe first time I pulled out The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak was magic. When I announced the title, the children-tired and ready to go home at the end of the day-groaned. They wanted cartoons and pictures! Nonetheless, I kept reading. By the second page, they realized this was not just any book. Before I knew it, I had twenty-four six-year-olds giggling and calling out for more! This is just one example of how your donations have instilled a love of reading in my children. Thank you.\r\nBefore receiving the classroom library package, I struggled to find books my students engaged with. I had a few scraggly and outdated books to choose from, however, my students just didn't seem to care. Your donations have completely turned this around.
