With the new Wireless Communication Policy in the state, some students only have bluetooth headphones, which violates the policy. Foremost, having the headsets readily accessible makes it easier for students to transition to independent speaking and listening practice to strengthen their English proficiency. Secondly, the headsets are good quality, they work well and are reliable. The students enjoy having new materials they can depend upon. Additionally, having enough headsets for all the students means that typical classroom tasks such as practice and assessments can be carried out more efficiently. Finally, my students have had the experience of a welcoming community by being the recipients of the headsets. We all appreciate that their needs have been recognized by our local community.
