By having these adapters, students can work independently and make the most of the time I am spending one on one with other students.\r\n\r\nThe rolling/standing height desk allows me to access the classroom for different lessons - and proximity control is an added benefit! My student teacher has also used this piece of classroom equipment to instruct her small groups in our limited space. And students are also using the desk, as well, when sitting becomes tiresome. The calming space normalizes self-care and models healthy coping strategies, reducing stigma around taking breaks for mental or emotional well-being. I have heard \"It is Christmas in August\" many times already. They come to my room and hunt for boxes each day and helped check off the list of items.
