The simple act of opening the boxes sparked so much creativity and ownership in the room.\r\nWe used the slime-making kits not just as a fun activity, but as a hands-on lesson in financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Students measured ingredients, calculated costs, and discussed pricing strategies. They worked in teams to design packaging and practiced persuasive pitches to \"sell\" their slime. What amazed me most was how naturally they stepped into leadership roles—some students shined as organizers, others as creative designers, and some as enthusiastic sellers.\r\nThe impact goes beyond making slime. My students now see how their hard work can support our school community, from funding field trips to helping with competition dues. They learned that even small efforts, when done together, can add up to something big. This project gave them confidence, teamwork skills, and the joy of seeing their ideas come to life. These books will complement our curriculum and students will each be able to have a book to read in class and at home. Our school tries to provide all ti can for the students but some times they are not able to get everything. Donors choose has helped tremendously in building my classroom library and being able to offer a variety of books for all the students.
